So THIS is happening this Saturday on Chorleywood Common! We haven’t booked a spot this year, but as per last weekend, we’re going to try and pop along to check it out. I believe this year, following feedback they will be arranging stalls in ‘zones’. (You may recall that we were dwarfed last year amongst a load of charity stalls, so people avoided us because they were scared of being collared to sign up for something).
If we make it, I will try and take some photos to share with you.
Sadly this is our last week at the Herts Craft Collective at Battlers Green Farm in Radlett! It has been a pleasure to exhibit our wares in the barn over the last 4 months, but now we feel it is time to look for other local opportunities. I didn’t really feel I had the time to commit to getting over there regularly enough to keep on top of restocking and display etc.
A big thank you to Suzanne for allowing us to rent some space there since mid-March!
Part of renting a table at the Herts Craft Collective at Battlers Green Farm is that you have to volunteer in the shop once a month. Yesterday was our first time to do this, and it went really well!
After everything was explained to us (including how to operate the card machine – argh!) we were left to it and the day was pretty fun. After our 11-4 shift, we headed to my mum’s for a spot of Roast Chicken, which went down well 🙂
Here’s a photo of our table at Hertfordshire Craft Collective at Battlers Green farm!
Funnily enough, we’re next to Barry who makes amazing things out of wood, including some of our soap mould casings!
Exciting news! You can now find our products at the Herts Vintage & Craft Collective at Battlers Green Farm Rural Shopping Village in Radlett, Hertfordshire. (This is what I bought the slice of Chesham Bois Elm for!)
We visited the Farm with my mum a few weeks ago to check it out, and thoroughly enjoyed looking around the different units where you can find prestigious brands, high quality furniture and interiors, food, drink, spices, wines…and the Bull Pen tea rooms and restaurant which did an AMAZING chicken pie.
The Craft Studio barn is located through the arch and round the back of the Bull Pen – follow the signs!

On Friday evening we took part in the Chorleywood Christmas Festival which took place in the village high street between 5-9pm. Although it was a slow start, the evening went really well! The weather was good (if not a bit blowy!) and the locals turned out in good numbers to browse the stalls and pick up presents and stocking fillers.
There was a big stage at the end of the road, with some brilliant live acts to keep us entertained, and there was plenty of food on offer, including a hog roast which we thoroughly enjoyed. We even managed to rescue our table display after a dog (wearing a festive Christmas jumper) lunged at it, sending our products flying! Thankfully, nothing was broken and it really wasn’t as bad as it seemed!
Our final fair of the year will be the Little Fox Market in Rickmansworth on Saturday 12th December. See you there!
